Like, I don't want that necessarily, but I want something to do. I know it's only the second day and I haven't even started classes yet but I feel so alone I guess. I just read this outloud to Shayne and Jenn and we all agree we felt EXACTLY that way our first days here---and are trying to help the new freshmen break out of that. The fact of the matter is that over time some of them will chill the fuck out. The rest of them are shallow fucking bitches and aren't worth comparing yourself to.
Fuck them.

They are all faking or boozing it up so they'll forget they are uncomfortable. Then they've got somethign to talk about the next day--all the shitfaced antics they did. Thats it. It's the same basic problem with different symptoms. You just handle yours in a more healthy fashion.

It's sucktastic but the first few days are like this. They'll get better.

Feel free to call me if you need to--I'm going to a mixer tonight for all the new freshmen and trying to be as helpful to them as I can. Frankly, I pretend they're you and treat them like I hope someone at IU is treating you. <3 It'll get better. Swears.
