While perhaps it was not the best expenditure of $250 in history, given that your prescription has not changed, there is nothing wrong with being interested in a slightly different look from time to time. Especially if you've stuck with the same kind of glasses for the last decade. That doesn't make you a less-than-strong person. Even having a moment of weakness and allowing a saleswoman to talk you into buying glasses you don't need isn't indicitive of permanent weakness. We all have moments of blindness, unwise spending, and so forth. Nothing to be ashamed of, really. Just something to watch out for lest it be repeated later on, is all.
First, I liked the old glasses, but hell, you're embarking on a new part of your life now. Your going to be making lots of changes and perhaps getting a new style of glasses isn't such a bad idea. It really can change the way you look. I don't think that you should think of buying a new pair as a sign of weakness. Rather, I can see that you're comfortable enough with yourself to try new things and experiment a bit. Besides, I'm sure that we've all spent more on less important things. Don't regret trying on a new you. You're a strong woman and you wear that well.

Wrong, an impulse is not a sign of weakness my warrior. it's a sign of insecurity more than anything else...you ARE strong enough for this...I and we both know you are...and don't worry at all MiDons, your bear is coming to a friendly neighbourhood near you. Soon.
