You didn't "let" anyone rape you. Ever. Rape is something that is done to you, without your consent. Even if you are too shocked and paralyzed to fight back, the responsibility lies with the rapist, not with you. I hope you know that.

Furthermore, once you learn to accept and like yourself for who you are, other people will see you for who you are, as well, and they'll appreciate that you are a product of your past, and that you are stronger for it.

And intimacy and trust are always scary. For everyone. Of course, for some of us, the stakes are higher. But being in a relationship always means opening yourself up and making yourself vulnerable.

I dont know what to say.
I can relate to all of that.
But what can ya say? life is hard.. harder for some..
But we're stronger and can appreciate the happy times MUCH more.
