I have my old glasses for over two years and the only thing that ever goes wrong with them is, er nothing. I have these new glasses for six weeks and they have a two scratches right where I look out of them.
Do you have a warranty? Most places, when you buy glasses, will repair them/replace them for a certain amount of time.
Also, do they have the anti-glare coating? I've tried several times to have that on my glasses and end up with SO MANY SCRATCHES. I never get it on anymore. I had to have them take it off last time.
Mike called and the lady had a list about a mile long about why I probably wouldn't get it covered. "Yes, she got the anti-scratch coat, but if there is a scratch that was caused by factors outside of the factory, then the warranty is void."
*headdesk*
I'll probably have Mike take them down to the place (it's across the street from his work) and deal with the old pair tomorrow.
If they say tough cookies then I'm going to jump ship and schedule a contact lens appointment.
And, no...no anti-glare coating. I do have Transitions though.
