I think if people hadn't already fallen in love with Neville in book 5 (or hell book 1 - come on, TEDDY BEAR PAJAMAS at age 11! How cute is THAT?!), they will when they read this one.
And I didn't see the Snape-Lilly thing at all. Though now I'm wondering that when Petunia says that "That boy" told Lilly about the dementors if she was talking about James or Snape.... @_@
