My Kindle shipped at like midnight from Kentucky via USPS. Estimated arrival date is 12/7? WTF??? That is an estimate that gives it like a week and a half... grrr.... just put it on a plane!

Why Kindle instead of Kindle 2?

Naturally I ordered the 2nd generation kindle as it has global wireless and is slim and sexy.

Normal people don't just list off model numbers when they say they are impatiently waiting for something =P

Hey, I assumed you meant what you said - just as you assumed we would "naturally" understand you ordered the "slim and sexy" model. What made you decide against the Kindle DX?

Dude, Kindle DX is freaking expensive and doesn't have global wireless.
