*wipes away sweat* Whew. And to think, I have more! I'm just not posting them right now. Aggghhh! Wow. Well, I do have something to say concerning a book I am reading, called The First King of Shannara, by Terry Brooks. This is a spoiler, so if you are, by chance, going to read the book and don't want spoilers, or if you just couldn't care less, by all means, you may skip this.
Dude. I'm only 226 pages into this book, but its really good. Really, really good. I just wish something that happened, hadn't happened. I WISH TAY HADN'T DIED!! He was such a great character! He was awesome! A great Elf... man he was so cool. Why do the coolest ones always have to die. DAMN IT!!! *sniffle* Sorry, had to let that out. Anyways, Jerle Shannara seems SO COOL too. I'm a bit afraid of what his reaction will be to his friend's death, though. Isn't this so sad?
"He opened his eyes. Jerle Shannara was cradling him in his arms, his strong face stricken. Preia knelt close, her eyes filled with tears, her face streaked with them
His hand found hers, amd held it.
Then, as he had done with Retton Kipp, he used his magic to draw the air from his lungs. Slowly he felt his heart and his pulse slow. He felt the destruction of his body slow as well, thwarted. He grew sleepy. It was all that was left in him. Sleep.
Darkness filmed his eyes and stole away his sight. He sighed once. Death came swiftly, gently, and bore him away.
... *SOB* Isn't that so sad!! *sniffles* Alright, well this thing is long enough, I guess I should get going, huh? ^_^
