My housemate and I invented this 'in it for the anecdotes' concept when we realised that we kept seeming to find ourselves at parties, or doing things that held no real appeal for us, but that provided us with brilliant stories to retell later. I definitely think there's potential for an imaginary 'in it for the anecdotes' store. I love your idea of a helmet, I agree, that is very appropriate in some situations.

This actually sounds like a really good way to look at eh situations we find ourselves in. It's like every time I have something really embarrassing happen to me I remind myself that someday, sometime in the future I will find this an amusing situation and tell stories about it. It sounds like you and your roommate get along quite well.

Yeah, it's just about being chilled about things and getting that, even if something is awful, it won't last. You're right, my housemate is awesome, we get along fantastically.

I just found your new story on fp and am quite blown away!
It was quite scary how I'm a twin AND I live and go to school in killara! Well maybe it's just a coincidence and you're not really stalking me. Naturally, I loved the bits on Talia's twins.
Anyway, keep up the good work, and for goodness' sake, let Alex end up with grace! :P
