Hi, good to hear from you! You probably don't remember me. Anyway, I'm glad you're writing something for yourself and enjoying it (which is the important part!) So yaaay!!

I'm excited to read it (if you decide to share it online that is).

Ps. three-year-olds are strange creatures. My niece is one of them.
PPs. Yay for They Might Be Giants! :D

Of course I remember you, you have a totally cute username. I don't think people use the word 'zany' as much as they should.

I'll definitely be sharing this story online, I'm so looking forward to finding out what people think of the new style (although, to be fair, it's not very new. It's very similar to SMtL).

Three year olds are hilarious, I'm concerned I have much the same sense of humour as my nephew. I'm embarrassed to count the number of times we both looked at something and burst out laughing.

Indeed yay for They Might Be Giants! Birdhouse in Your Soul came on the radio the other day and I was so excited I dug out my old CD and I've been listening to it heaps. Dr Worm was everybody's favourite, but Birdhouse in Your Soul is heaps better I reckon.

Cheers so much for the comment, I'm so excited about posting now!

Dude, you're back!!!! I thought the FBI kidnapped you! *I wonder whas the name for Australian FBI..? Hmm googling that after this*

oh you sneaky devil! Haha can't wait for this story of yours.. Usually I avoid highschool stories because I'm not in one anymore *sigh I feel so old* but for yours, I'll definitely be reading!

You'll be posting it on FP right? Oh what happen to that other story? You gave us a snippet of the beginning. Vaguely remembering there's shoe laces invovlved. Yeah I'm not good at remembering but when I do I remember the unimportant stuff which still doesn't help. Gah, I need professional help.

Anyway looking forward to it

Hurrah, yes, I'm back. Honestly I don't think we have an FBI in Australia, but we have ASIO which is kind of like the American CIA (except no-one takes them at all seriously. Australian spies, it makes me snigger every time I think about it) so maybe you could have suspected them?

But, yes, sneaky I am. I know what you mean about high school stories feeling a bit weird when you're no longer in high school, but hopefully this one won't be too awkward. The main characters are the same age as Talia was in SMtL, mainly I just needed the main character to still live at home and...well hopefully it'll make sense when/if you read it!

Yep, will definitely post it on FP. The other story was just a start I randomly wrote one day. Maybe I'll expand that, I'll see how I go once I've finished this current one.

Cheers for the comment, you made me so excited for when I eventually share this story (seriously need a name for it...!).

A new story? :D I admit that the high school setting gave me pause for a second there, as I'm more a fan of your collegiate and above writing, but I think it'll be interesting to see you explore this different style. I look forward to most anything you write in general. Can't wait to get my eyes on this secret! :)

Yeah, I was momentarily weirded out when I was writing the story and suddenly they were in high school, but it is kind of necessary for the plot. There's supposed to be a definite feeling of claustrophobia which I just don't believe you get as much when you go to uni. Anyway, we'll see how we go. If you read it and send me a message saying 'Good gracious girl, stick to uni and above' I shall know where I should continue to focus my energies!

Thank you so much for saying you look forward to stuff I write, that is seriously one of the nicest things I've ever heard. Hopefully I'll be posting soon. Cheers!

I'm glad you're keeping it simple in your HS story because I don't know about high schools down under, but after being in University I look back at my HS days and realize just how simple things were.

I know, right? The high school setting makes so many things a lot simpler (less focus on living on your own, managing family interaction, organising to meet friends, etc.). I suppose, on the whole, uni is where you start fully managing your own life, which is great, but definitely more complicated.

Cheers for the comment.
