That's fantastic that you enjoy reading my stuff, it's something I still can't really get my head round. I'm honestly surprised by how much sharing my writing has changed it. In the past I've been writing as I've updated, but, as LC was written just about all in one go, it's changed massively.
Yay for alliteration, even if it was entirely unintended!
Cup starts tonight, I'm buzzing! Trust me, I'm jealous of my dad too, seriously how dare he not take me with him!
I was just about crying with jealousy at the airport, he's going to have such an awesome time. I don't know how I'd cope if two of my mates were going, that'd be even worse, you have my sympathies.
Argentina, hey? Lots of people reckon they're a chance to take the whole thing. I'm witholding opinion until I see how teams get through the first round.
yes, alas, I got word that one of my friends somehow gathered some tickets yesterday and will be attending the Argentina game tomorrow... that just about made me absolve our friendship, esp since he is a Brazil fan (ick...).
Aye, I have hopes that Messi will lead us to the cup but I've been hearing of people slotting the match to be Spain v. Germany... we will see...
I don't suggest edits much on the stories that I read at FP. I just don't feel comfortable pointing out and listing errors and leaving it as a review that everyone can read. That being said, I frequently leave extended edit suggestions on LJ because most of the authors that I follow have friends only journals and I feel like it's more personal. It also takes some getting to know the author and whether they want suggestions not only on spelling and grammar but possibly on content as well. Just let me know what kind of feedback you want and I am happy to help. I am too hard on myself to put the stories on my head down on paper so I really admire those of you who do and am happy to help make things better and better if that is desired.
So envious of your father...how big is his suit case?
Sorry..definitely meant Lucy. Not sure why the name Lily is floating around in my head.
I'm happy to provide feedback. I typically don't suggest major changes but definitely try to point out likes and dislikes as well as situations where I think that someone is acting out of character. You are very receptive and appreciative. Some authors never reply and that makes me think twice about commenting on their stories in the future.
I'm so glad you think so. Nothing I like better than hearing I provided an alternative to school work!
Constructive criticism is handy stuff, but in this case, it's also been what people have liked that has shaped what I've written. I've downplayed certain things and highlighted others in a natural progression of what people enjoy reading and how it fits the story.
I'm buzzing like a nutter about tonight! Bring it on! I know what you mean, as a Pom in Australia I'm getting so much thrown at me. If England don't do at least sort of alright I may have to emigrate! As for the Aussies, if we could keep half of them out of gaol and the other half away from the mirror we might do okay.
Soccer? What soccer? Never mind, it's early days yet.
Eh, the way I look at it, we got both goals so it was technically 2-nil. Bring on the weekend, Australia and England play (in separate matches, obviously) it's going to be a big one!

I love alliteration. So I wholeheartedly approve.
The cup starts so soon. I am beyond excited. And rather jealous of your father.
