Because I'm useless at bios...

Jun 13, 2009 08:58

So, I tried to fill out the bio thing on this site and hit a major roadblock as I couldn't think of a single thing to say. After worrying for a couple of seconds that I appear to have absolutely no personality, I stumbled across the idea of posting one of those quiz thingies that I'm hoping will kind of negate the need for a bio. Therefore, please ( Read more... )

No kidding.. it is so so cold in Australia these days. Though I'm in Sydney, and it just finished raining, no idea how it is for you in SA.

I'm procrastinating from cramming for exams.. sigh

I think I might go to see 'The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas'.. but maybe not in the cinema.. I'd be the one with tissues circling my seat..

It is flippin' freezing! But I don't know what you're complaining about in Sydney, I'm in Tassie at the moment! I'm currently being bad for the environment in two ways by sitting in front of the fire with the heater on as well! In my defence, I only just lit the fire so it's taking a little while to get going.

Yeah, if you're the sort of cry in the cinemas then definitely take tissues to 'The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas'. I hadn't read the book when I saw it and the whole thing was a bit traumatic!

Good look with your exams!

Lol.. well for some reason, my parents haven't taken out the heater yet... so I'm stuck just piling on the layers instead.

Just finished reading the new chapter. It was a long one! Can't wait to see how this one wraps up =]

Have been reading your stories for some time and I truly love them!

I just wanted to say that I have always thought that invisibility was an awesome power to have! For the same reason, I would be able to see the world for free!

Thanks so much, always nice to hear someone has fun reading my stuff.

Haha, cheap people of the world unite! How terrible for the pair of us wanting super powers to eavesdrop and go places for free. Shame on us!

1. I actually didn't like the way they adapted The Boy in The Striped Pajamas to the screen so I didn't finish is after literally being interrupted like 5 minutes before the end (I knew what happened already from the wonderful book.)

2. I have gray-blue eyes too! One of my friends totally freaked me out when I was like 6 or 7 by saying that gray eyes were a sign of blindness so since my eyes were "going gray" I was therefore going blind. Years later I do actually have glasses, but my eyes aren't that bad and I'm certainly not blind, yet.

3. I love Gilmore Girls and Firefly, believe it or not, my father introduced our family to Gilmore Girls. Have you ever seen Chuck?

The rest of your answers are wonderful too, you seem like such an awesome person. I'm eager to read your lj.

Excellent, numbered dot points!

1. I have to admit I hadn't actually read the book, but everyone I know who has read it and seen the movie has said the same as you. I thought the kids were brilliant.

2. Yikes! I'm going to go blind? I have lovely eyesight though (not to rub it in...!) so I refute your young friend's knowledge. Us grey eyes need to stick together (wow, that sounded kind of gross actually!).

3. Gilmore Girls is seriously awesome. Top knotch work by your dad, I don't think my dad would have any comprehension what it is! I haven't seen Chuck, but I've heard good things so I'll keep an eye out for it.

You're so lovely, I'll definitely take your opinion on being awesome and run!

Cheers, Jess

Oh and Woop Woop just means out in the middle of nowhere. So I sometimes say that my parents live out Woop Woop as in it takes ages to get there.
