But don't you need certain qualifications to become a librarian? Like...a hair bun and little glasses?

I already have smallish glasses! No hair bun, though. And I just got my hair cut so I no longer have enough to do anything bunnish with. :(

But I discovered this morning that it apparently requires some special state certification and two years of library-related experience. Which, I must point out, directly contradicts the "no experience necessary" claim they made in the newspaper ad. Oh well, at least I looked into it. Can't accuse myself of not trying to find a job!

Yyyyeah...the Stillwater County Library is pretty far removed from any library you've ever seen. It's tiny. Ridiculously, comically tiny. Seems they have a librarian, an "assistant librarian", and that's pretty much it.

This is definitely one of the few areas I could conceivably really get into job-wise, so...maybe when I'm in a real city?

Hmm.. it really does sound creepy. I kinda assumed you would know from the IP address, but yes it's Jim's cousin Lisa. And we are just loaded with big libraries. ;)

If only I were that good with IP addresses!

That makes me feel slightly more comfortable, though. It just might be possible I can find something out there in the very narrow realm of things I'm actually capable of doing...
