Ugh. I had to get obnoxiously early again today. It's my mom's birthday, so of course there had to be family gatherance for that. At least the food was good. Smoked cheddar and summer sausage for appetizers, homemade stuffed crust pizza for the main course, and pumpkin cheesecake for dessert. Not a damn thing there that's even remotely healthy, but

She's not suffering anymore. Before she....went, she gave me a sweet little lick on the face, as if to say goodbye. That was such a heart-wrenching moment. She was a wonderful dog...

I'm probably not going to be getting another dog anytime soon. It would complicate the hell out of the move, y'see. Besides, I couldn't possibly spare you....whatever it is you do with your Inu. That would just be mean.

Can't have cats at home. I'm allergic. And they would bother the neighbors. And I don't know how my Lab would reat.
