So, I have to be serious for a moment here. For the past week and a half, a stray cat and her newborn kittens have been living under our porch. I've been providing food and water for them, and just generally trying to make everything okay for them. I'm not much of a pet person, but I am a major animal lover, so it's just something I pretty much had

Why did I talk to....who? My mom didn't do it. She was just as upset as I am. It was those dumb redneck neighbours, who, I assure you, I intend to get back at....somehow....before I leave.

Oh. I actually don't talk to her anymore. At all. I just....know too many people who still treat her as a perfectly decent human being who, y'know....didn't try to kinda sorta murder me.

No matter how horrible a person is, you should always treat them as if they were a decent human being. It's just the right thing to do. It does not translate into condoning a person's actions. If I personally knew Hitler, Jeffrey Dahmer, or freaking Satan, I would still treat them as if they were perfectly decent human beings.

Please don't assume that no one cares. I care very much, but I can't care about something if you don't share it. So many of these bad things that you listed, I had no idea that any of them even occurred. If there is something specific that you need that I can provide, or if there is an action I can perform that can help you in some way, just say so. If I'm able, I will do what I can if it helps you to have a better life. But I can't be of any help at all without being in the know. :(

I dunno. I guess my life has just conditioned me to believe that everything needs to have consequences. Mostly because, um....I've faced pretty severe consequences for far, far more minor things. More than half the people I've known, and considered to be friends out of youthful naivete, have left me simply because I'm fat and/or ugly. So from that perspective, yes, it bugs me that everyone's perfectly accepting of the fact that Kristen tried to manipulate me into offing myself (without even so much as just saying "hey, Kristen, that wasn't cool), or that Stabby McScrewdriver is apparently leading a wonderful, successful, not-behind-bars life by this point.

I'm just hoping this is a viewpoint I'll eventually grow out of, I guess.

Maybe....maybe I need to stop obsessing over the fact that people are still sticking with those people....and focus on the fact that now I have people who are sticking with me now, too.
