A question:
What is the ultimate cake?

This isn't quite a cake, but my favourite slice is the chocolate cake/cheese cake marble slice (chocolatey cakeyness on top, rictta cheesecakeyness on the bottom) from one of the Weekly Times cookbooks. I might make it tomorrow. (I'm le home, with an oven!)

I make something similar - only it's choc on the bottom and cheesecake on the top. Whatever, the combination is AWESOME. But not, for my purposes, a cake...

what sort though? I had a raspberry and white choc one the other day that wasn't too bad, even though white chocolate is HORRIBLE stuff

the world is my slice of cake so the cake that it comes from would have to be fairly ultimate.

and also fairly, well, tall? A bit big for the average biter, I mean...

you would need some sort of eating utensil and tke small bites out of it. but it would certainly keep you going. like those cafe cakes where each slice takes up a plate and requires 3+ people to eat only bigger.
