What is it, Tuesday, and some ass-hat governor has already found another way to make this country look like the trailor park of the world? Between the hunting accidents and the fundamentalist Bible humping that's been going on lately, American politics, as I see it, is starting to resemble Owosso, MI more and more every week. Because it kinda does sound like I'm making fun of you, I guess. But I'm not! Your post made me legitimately angry! I am totally not the kind of dude who makes fun of his girlfriend on Livejournal about ladies dying. Not me at all.

Anyway, I'll go to DC with you all if you'll have me. I am totally skilled in protest-sign-craft.

I know you don't intentionally sound like you're making fun of me, but it happens and then I have to confirm the making-fun-of status.

I've never seen you construch a protest sign. I think I'd like to see that! What would your pro-choice sign say?

I miss being in DC with you by the way, something awfuls.

Jenn and I cried today in the Gender and Sexuality Center as we read a post on how to give a homemade abortion.

I wish I could go to tomorrow's protest. I've never been so fired up to protest in my life. We really need another stellar March for Women's Lives in DC. I don't care if they're a bitch to plan! We kinda really need to do SOMETHING.

I don't even get worked up over this crap anymore. This will never go through. The fact that some asshole is trying doesn't surprise me at all, but this bill is going nowhere.

Yeah, but the fact that it's already starting to happen shows how we can't take things for granted anymore. People should've started freaking out about reproductive rights in S. Dakota when there was only ONE abortion clinic in the entire state! And there are a bunch of states just like S. Dakota with only ONE abortion clinic, and if Roe gets overturned, it'll be illegal to have an abortion in the state of Michigan.

I can't help getting all worked up because it's SO scary, and the possibility is much realer than you might think.
