Plans are good, plans are great. Sometimes you have to change plans. Sometimes you don't. Unfortunatly, nobody else can tell you which is more appropriate. (Well okay, they can tell you, and knowing you, you'll listen, but that's beside the point).
My advice is this. Have fun! (I have to live vicariously through somebody)
