I'm rereading the Inheritance books (Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr) in preparation for the 4th one being released some time in the near future, and was suddenly struck by a certain similarity. There is more! Like how the kindly old mentor is killed by the Emperor's minion, the boy goes NUUUUUUU with grief, etc. I just ran out of time last night. Now I'm trying really hard to concentrate on science and not writing more of this. XD
