Just Fucking Picture Perfect

As if things weren't going badly enough, I picked up my $350 dollar camera today to take a picture of the dog, and the LCD screen won't work. It just stays blank white.

Fucking Perfect.

The viewfinder still works, but I can't see anything through it because it's too small.

Why does life hate me?

There's gotta be a button somewhere that's been pushed.

Every time Eleora got ahold of our camera, she'd do something that made it so the LCD screen was blank, but the view finder worked just fine.

The only thing that fixed it was taking the batteries out to charge them. For some reason it would work fine when I put them back in. Eventually I found the button that she was pushing and haven't had the problem since.

And I know technically a good digital photographer will always use the viewfinder, but I felt so handicapped without the screen.

Last month the screen was doing this weird jittering thing, and charging the battery made it go away.

Now the viewfinder is telling me that the battery has a full charge.

I suppose maybe it could be lying.

I guess I'll try and recharge it tomorrow.

All I know is that I haven't done anything to break the screen. It's been sitting untouched on my desk for two weeks.
