Finally!
Josh and I have found a place! We were approved yesterday and are moving into our 2-bedroom apartment on June 24th. Only two more weeks living with our parents, and now it will feel more like vacation. The place we are living is just south of Town Lake (not sure why it's called lake as it is actually a river) and close to Zilker Park and Barton ( Read more... ) -

On The Road Again...
After driving for 1700 miles, we made it to Austin yesterday. It's really strange to be in a city that you don't know your way around. Currently this page says that the Suns and SPURS are playing in the Western Conference Finals. Seriously. It's called editing. Someone should have caught this. The story goes on to say that Nowitzki and the Mavericks are playing the Suns. Anyways, they are silly.

Texas politics are screwy. For an independent to get on the ballot for governor, they have to have 45,540 signatures from people who did NOT vote in either primary. They cannot collect signatures until the primaries are over and they have just under 2 months to collect them (unless there is some weird run-off in which case they have only a few ( Read more... )
