I stopped keeping a journal years ago when my sister read my diary. I was embarrassed that someone had read my deepest thoughts and feelings, especially since I was 17 and very pubescent. I destroyed all my journals a few years later, and have only written once or twice a year when I needed to process something big, or write something extreme

it is good to see you write in your livejournal. Some people (like me) actually use it as a journal, but many many others use it just to communicate with all their friends. (which I do as well).
So in other words... post what you feel like posting, and don't let any one pressure you into changing what you want to post. this is your site, your rules

Post as you will, Jesse. I update about once a month to keep my friends updated, and sometimes I vent, and sometimes I respond to other posts. (I respond way more than I update.)
