no real comment to add, but it's an interesting development.

I can get behind the reasons why marijuana shouldn't be illegal, and I wish it wasn't illegal, but I've yet to read a compelling argument for why we should actually spend our time making it legal.

because not only is the current legal framework broken and unjust with extremely high cost in both blood and treasure, a new model oriented around legal distribution and taxation would in one fell swoop deprive criminals and criminal organizations of a major revenue source and redirect that revenue towards government
