why must everything be so DARK when promoting electronic pop music

it's awesome that an act like Code 64 is coming to the USA for the first time and playing in a festival with acts like Frozen Plasma and the amazing IRIS. The only thing that bugs me is the name of this three day festival. As if there wasn't enough DARK out there in the world of trying to find an outlet for electronic pop music, DARKSTAR is born to
