I'm a Guppy Killer

I cleaned the tank this morning which holds my goldfish and my guppy, knowing it had been awhile and hoping the little guys would appreciate some fresh water. At around 1:30 this afternoon, the guppy was tummy-side up dead in the tank.

I am sad.

I've killed so many fish in my life. Genocide really. Did you treat the water and let it sit for awhile before changing? Did bubbles show up on the side of the glass after you changed the water?
