So my boss told me a few days ago that I was getting a raise.

My paycheck shows up, and I'm making a whopping 15 Cents more per hour.

Would you guys find that insulting?

What would you do?

15 - 30 cents is pretty run-of-the-mill. Happens.

$9.00 more a paycheck. That is not run of the mill

It's normal. 9 bucks more a paycheck IS pretty run of the mill, unless you're working a corporate office job. It's not an insult. It's a lot more than most people get.

The average raise for you're basic average joe employee at Costco is 25 cents for every 800 hours worked, and thats pretty generous, so I imagine 15 cents would be about right for the type of job it is... not to insult you're job or anything.

Alright, as much as you guys say it's a normal raise, I still think that the price of ONE LATTE a week is pretty frickin' lame. And as such, I'm probably going to quit soon.
