Madicon. What can I tell you: we had an amazing time.  The table was usually slow, but that didn't really matter, since we had next to no expenses - but when we get more cash on a Saturday at Madicon (a convention of a couple hundred) than the Friday and Sunday of Katsu combined (a convention of several thousand)? I think that says something about

Oh man, we just saw Black Dynamite--it's not just a parody/tribute, it's really one-upping/improving upon many blaxploitation films! Pacing==way better, for starters. However, there probably should have been more boobs. Also, would have been nice to have Pam Grier in there somewhere...but yeah, pretty awesome. Just the trailer for it ended up being better than the entirety of Zombieland (which is how we heard of it).
