I wonder if they celebrate Joshie's birthday as the day he was born or the day he was taken. Probably the latter, after all Waitangi day is a public holiday so they could throw really good parties.

I wonder if, when he is a teenager, he will find his birth certificate and what he will think of it. Will he think I misspelled his name, or that his ( Read more... )

Jessi, I can't tell you how glad I am to see a post from you. I worry about how things are for you a lot and I'm so happy to see things from you. I wish I could chat with you - I miss you so much, you wouldn't believe. I've never hated you, although you might have thought that.

On the subject of the actual post, I will admit that I don't know how much I can help with advice, as I don't know the circumstances which you speak of, and I'm not going to pry. That said, it must have been hard to put Joshie up for adoption, perhaps even to have him in the first place.
