I think this is the most stressful that buying a house gets: we are currently waiting to see whether our offer was accepted, or if they will counter-offer.
Ah! I am so antsy!
They have until 5:pm tomorrow to get back to us, but I really hope it happens sooner.

So driving down Trent today, I was following a F-250 with two german shepherds, completely unsecured, pacing in the truck bed. Being adamantly against this practice of driving with dogs in the pickup bed (unless they are crated) and especially without even being tied out, I wasn't feeling particularly pleased with the situation. There are certain things that must be done in the next 28 hours, none of which I really want to do. It isn't that any of my responsibilities are all that bad. Here's an image that had Scott and I talking on the way to dog class last night: a thin, rough-looking man, probably mid- to late-40's, riding a bicycle uphill beside traffic on Sunset Boulevard with a cigarette in his mouth and holding a cell phone to his ear.

Quite impressive, really.

Other than the point at the end of page 476 - aka Chapter Twenty-Three, Malfoy Manor - where I had to stop reading for a while to cry and feel overwhelmingly indignant toward J.K.
