I just had my French oral.

FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I messed up my speech. I kept on switching tenses. I repeated myself around a million times. I think I forgot to use the past tense.

eek.

If only my entire oral had consisted of saying 'bonjour, mirandeur, comment ca va?' - then I would have got an A* for sure ( how can I resist saying that everyday when it annoys you so?). A suppose a good sign is that although my heart was going at approximately 200 beats per minute I still managed to understand most of the questions that she asked me. However, if I didn't use the past tense, I won't be able to get a C or above - the accepted 'good' grades for GCSE...

*worries*

I remember my French GCSE oral exam. I'd not done any revision and had skimped on the homework, attended poorly - until 3 days before the exam. This was filled with the realisation "I have a French oral in three days and I can't speak any Franch".

I'd made myself so nervous that I actually forgot the question I was on at one point. "Quell question sil vous plait" and all that. I got a C - miraculous if you ask me.

Point, I'm sure you weren't a quarter as bad as I was and will get a good grade.

Hugs

Thanks! I did do a lot of revision (I'll be the first to say that I'm a bit geeky in the exam stakes!) so hopefully some of it stuck - I can't really remember what she asked me, just that I made a heinous number of mistakes.

Well done!
