Bloodwork this morning.

Well, I found out what the bloodwork was that I was going to get done today. One of them was for the thyroid, which they already tested. This makes me wonder ... The other one was for my red and white blood cell count. They told me that they probably had to redo this because with the last one, they didn't get enough blood to complete the test, so ( Read more... )

The first test is the glucose fasting, the second one is a glucose tolerance test. Just thought I'd explain that to you since I know a great deal about diabetes, as I have a ton of friends with it and also I am educated since I am at risk for diabetes, and had to do a similar one last summer since I was concerned, but my sugars were a bit low LOL!

Eww, having tests done stinks. Glad you got that over with though.

Hope for your dad's sake that he isn't a diabetic. It isn't any fun and if you have concerns that he wouldn't take care of himself those are valid worries.
