I am going to start to try and blog every day or every other day. Since my husband is gone, I dont get a chance to have a long nice adult conversation everyday anymore, so why not here ( Read more... )

You are a great mommy!!! Please tell me how you got her potty trained so fast! Lyssie just isn't into it yet. She will sit on the potty but she doesn't really get it. I admire you for your strength while Matt is gone! I'm sure I will be in your situation some time soon. Good luck to you and post pictures of that cutie pie and Gabrielle! :)

Thank you! We started around 17 or 18 months, when she showed alittle interest. And we did a sticker chart, when she went pee she got 1 sticke and poop 2 stickers. And she got a SMALL piece of candy for both. Then she started going pee all the time even a little drop and thought she got candy so we made it just for poop. then she started squeezing little turds out thinking she could get candy for going poop 10 times a day! So she has finallly not been pooping as much and since Matt left she hasnt been getting candy EVERYTIME she goes poop only if SHE remembers and asks for it after she goes!
Thanks, honestly there isnt much strength here, it has all happend with God to be honest, and see me in person and you will think different I will start crying :)

Kaidens gas is so bad that it is painful for him :( Do you have any tricks? We have tried EVERYTHING!

So good to hear that Kaiden is doing better!! That RSV can be scary, especially with a bad cough! aww poor little bugger!

I am so incredibly in awe that Gabrielle is potty trained. Grace won't even go near the potty! I'm goign to buckle down and do it. We were having a really hard time with her brushing her teeth (she was fighting it so bad) so I remembered you did the sticker chart with Gabrielle and so I did it with Grace for brushing her teeth and its been working really good!! So I think we're going to do one with the potty too! We will see. How did you get her to go that first time? I feel like once Grace does it and sees - she will get it. Its that FIRST time.. I just can't seem to get her to sit on there long enough..!?!? aah! I swear, my child will be 6 before she's out of diapers!

Sounds like you are hanging in there. Just think to yourself how fast the time will fly!

Thanks! I know, that I posted that Gabrielle did pee the bed last night my bed, but she was sleeping terrible last night and freaking out so I wasnt surprised, but it was her first accident! How did we get her to first go...um...honestly I cant remember that was awhile ago..I think we just kept asking her and taking her in the bathroom with me everytime I went and Matt too.
Good luck :) Gabrielle and I fight about brushing her teeth too!
