Sorry there've been no posts of late. Burning the candle at both ends the weeks before Spring Break. I'm dogsitting for the first weekend of break, then going home with a friend for the rest of the week. Next weekend I'm helping to throw a bridal shower for my dear friend, Des, who's getting married at the end of this semester.

I loved the LOTR movies. I'm not a huge fan of some of the changes made to the books, but they never really tarnished my imagining of the books. That's all I could hope for.

Oh, and every time I see the bit at the end of Return of the King where Aragon bows to the hobbits? Yeah. Gets me every time, as does when Sam returns home to his wife.

That, and when Frodo wakes up after they bring the eagles rescue him. And when Sam asks gets up to talk to Rosy when the get back to the Shire. And when they get on the boat at the end. Oh, and when the credits rolled. Yeah. I cried at every new image under the credits for about three minutes. It was pretty ridiculous.
