DAY 02

PROMPT: Samantha Carter/Janet Fraiser, chewing on nuts
RATING: PG13
WORD COUNT: 201

"Fraiser," Janet answered mid-munch when she picked up the phone on the wall. Her eyes scanned down to the last word of the health report just as Sam's voice traveled through the other side.

"Hey," She said and Janet recognized her tone. A mental image of Sam twirling around in her chair with her lips pursed popped into her mind.

"Bored?"

"Yep!"

"Wanna come over?"

Sam frowned at the voice. "What are you doing"

The last time Sam arrived without knowing Janet's task at hand, she had walked into a rectal exam. She couldn't decide then who was more embarrassed--her or the airman who had two of Janet's fingers stuck up his behind.

"Chewing on nuts," Janet said. "If you hurry, there's possible sharing."

"What kind of nuts?" Sam's suspicion was growing. She had known the doctor long and well enough to not take her words literally. Janet also happened to have quite a gutter mind, and it was always better and safer to make sure she knew about the situation fully before she walked in.

Janet chuckled at the question, knowing fully what Sam had in mind when she uttered her reply. "Don't worry, Sam, it's walnuts. Actual walnuts."

PROMPT: Walter Harriman, having a good day
RATING: PG
WORD COUNT:205

Gate diagnostic, checked. Computer health, checked. Data backup, checked. There had been no disruption of routine today and Walter was a happy bean. He stretched, his hands reaching to the back of his head. He leaned back onto his chair and swirled around a bit, a happy song hummed in his head.

"Harriman!"

He almost fell out of the chair at the command of his name through the speakers. He could swore he heard a muffled chuckle that followed. He looked up to the cameras immediately, wondering if General Hammond had witnessed the whole thing.

"Yes, sir?" he spoke into the mic.

"My office, now," his voice boomed through, then there was an indicating click that signals the end of the transmission.

He hurried upstairs, nodding briefly to a few passing airmen in greeting. He knocked once, then three times quickly.

"Come in," General Hammond's voice boomed through the wood.

Walter entered, a smile spread across his face as soon as he saw the chess set, all set up.

"Why George, never knew you'd be willing to play a losing game," he chuckled, and closed the door behind him.

"Shut it, Walter," George said, a cheeky smile across his face. "I've learned some new techniques..."

PROMPT: Samantha Carter, daydreams
RATING: PG
WORD COUNT: 236

She was staring at her screen--usually it was a sign of her pondering on the work, thinking of how to phrase her report, something that requires at least a bit of brain activity. But the brain activity for this time was different. Her gaze was slightly heaven-ward as images start floating through her mind.

Her and Janet--fishing.

Her and Janet--baking a cake for Cassandra.

Her and Janet--half covered in flour.

Janet--with her messy hair just after a shower.

Janet--the way the pencil skirt hugs her hips and her heels accents her calf muscles even more.

Janet--how amazingly hot the woman is to have to wear her dog tag underneath her dress blues, protocol required or not.

Janet--giving her a back rub.

Janet--kissing her softly on the side of her neck--

A sharp knock on her door jerked her back to reality. She cussed silently and swung around in her chair to greet the intruder with a death glare. Instead, her baby blues landed on Janet. To be more accurate, they landed on Janet's chest first. She try not to look guilty or annoyed.

"Hey," Sam greeted casually.

"Am I interrupting something?"

Yes, but I'm glad you did.

"No," Sam said, the smile that started to spread across her face is beginning to look sly.

"Awesome," Janet said and pulled out a file from under her lab coat.

PROMPT: Walter Harriman, there were unexpected perks to his job
RATING: PG
WORD COUNT: 209

He couldn't join in any of the action around the SGC, and it wasn't even because he had a medical excuse. He didn't need to visit the infirmary or get as regular check ups as the airmen who went through the gate regularly. But Walter had learned to like his job--one that he never knew, nor anyone else ever will.

The thing is, Walter was allowed to tweet about whatever happens, just as long as he doesn't reveal anything of confidential sensitivity. He could also install whatever the heck he wants on the computer and plays it during the space times.

So far, he has gotten hooked onto Angry Birds. General Hammond had walked in one him one day while he was in the midst of the game. Instead of fuming up and reprimanding him, Hammond hovered behind him and tapped his shoulder. When Walter turned around, he was horrified--his mind had raced through a thousand thoughts to explain why he was doing what he wasn't suppose to. But instead, Hammond gestured to the screen casually.

"A little higher," he said, tilting his head to one side a little as though to gauge the correct angle, "That way, all the pigs will tumble down at one shot."

PROMPT: Walter Harriman, Starbucks Runs
RATING: PG
WORD COUNT: 210

Walter loves it whenever Major Davis return from the pentagon. It wasn't only that Major Davis was actually one of the few people who was nice to him, but also because Major Davis love putting Walter on "coffee duty". Some wondered if Walter had a crush on the Major, so willingly and eagerly accepting the task.

The truth is--and Walter learned that after about 4 runs--Major Davis doesn't drink coffee. When Paul Davis winked at him one of those times when he brought him coffee and then leave it untouched through the three hour meeting, Walter understood the gesture behind this. It was his "break", a chance to get out of the mountain and wander the streets a bit, get some fresh air. He could also take his own sweet time. Once or twice he had sat at Starbucks, sipping a fruit smoothie for about half an hour as he watched customers wander in and out to get their daily fix. Once or twice, he spotted a few cute girls who actually turn and paid some attention to him. It might have been his military uniform, but Walter didn't really care. He enjoyed that bit of attention he's getting from the ladies.

Starbucks runs? Walter is your guy.
