so because of the nature of the research i'm doing this year ive had to use york as a major resource. now, unlike u of t, york makes all their resources available to ALL university students in ontario. pretty much i have the same rights there as regular students. at u of t you need to be a student to even LOOK at their books(god forbid a trent ( Read more... )

word to big bird. yes i feel like ryerson would be better because its not so much of an island, i feel like u of t would be better because of that too. but yorks got no soul.

york sucks man. thankfully i'm only there on tuesdays.
it takes so fucking long to get there on the bus and i don't even live that far away. you can use the library at uoft if you are a grad student
but they generally do have snobby library policies.
also there are annoying brats at the library at york who use the computers to look at faceback...and when you need to look for books on their site all the computers are taken. the profs are way better than at ryerson and ottawa u though, and make you work hella harder as well.
