How's things on your end of the 'net connection? It's been a little while since we had a chance to talk.

Eh, same old same old. It sucks living in the in-laws' house (I have been informed that I do not live in the basement, despite what the blueprints say about my room placement- I share the house with them and I must specify whenever asked), but Katie enjoys having access to her grandparents all the time. She had a good birthday and several fantastic presents- a kitchen set from Nick and me (complete with utensils and pots and things from my parents) and a table and chair set from the in-laws. She's also getting several new outfits on Saturday, plus a tricycle. Things are going well with the party planning. Mostly what I have left is just decorating and chopping fruit. I'm being gentle on myself this year! *laugh

Also, did you know that there's a character limit on comments? I definitely didn't and had to do some creative editing to get it under the 4300 character limit. :-/

I'll email you what I've got so far. There's a lot of me brain-dumping and sketching things out in the first half of the file, and then there's actual story-ish stuff after. I'm having so much fun with this. :D

Do we wanna do both nights? David probably won't mind being a third wheel of sorts while we girls flail and silent-squee. :P
