My 16 year old cat died today. She became sick over the last month or so and before I noticed it she was emaciated and was not drinking or eating. I drove her to the vet this morning and asked them to put her down as she was in a very bad state. She died in my arms and was purring. I had a gastro scope today and they took a picture of my small intestine and the Dr says there is only a slight sign of gastritis, an inflammation of the stomach lining. He took 6 or 8 biopsies and will check for any serious illness that could have caused my vomiting, he is not convinced I ever had a peptic ulcer as the original scope did not ( Read more... )
