jake and i wrote a song. we tried to upload it to our myspace but it was being lame, so go here here and right click the link and choose "save as". keep in mind that this was written and recorded somewhere between six and nine this morning.

so sara and i just had the best danceparty ever in the radio station to iron hero.

anyway, i've been in a really good mood the last few days.
i'm also glad that i have a doctor i can go see without health insurance.
i can't wait to go visit my family.

last night i got mugged walking home. i'm pretty sure the guy only hit me because instead of a credit card, i gave him a calcasieu parish library card.

i am discovering the happiness i thought i'd lost inside me. my life, though weighted and halting, is no less than a lovesong i write to myself. there still lives a fire in my belly; it keeps me warm at night.
