I know what you mean about church.
When I told my uncle that I don't really consider myself catholic anymore, he asked me if I wanted to go to church with him, and looked really surprised when I said yes. I went through the motions (mostly of habit) and said the prayers, but when the word God came up, my mind would replace it with God-Force to stick more with what I believe.
