It started off as a dare.

Some friends were throwing an apartment-warming party even though they were just moving into a unit down the hall. But that was a good enough excuse as any for them, so Tiffany found herself sprawled out onto the carpet of a tiny living room late into a Friday night. The crowds of acquaintances and those who tagged along had come and gone, and all that was left were soft laughs of friends and the gentle beats of mellower tunes making their way through the hazy air.

"Hey…" Wooyoung interrupted the peaceful scene.

Everyone turned to look at him.

"Let's play truth or dare."

"Whaat? Seriously?" laughed Nichkhun, another host of the party.

"I'm down!" said a girl Tiffany wasn't familiar with.

"Yeahh!! C'mon, c'mon, c'mon," Wooyoung drawled lazily.

Tiffany watched as the few people left shifted a bit so that they were all in a loose circle and sighed before doing the same. She rolled over onto her side and exhaled into the carpet as she sized up the ring of people who would be doing god knows what in the next half hour. She wondered what her losses would be.

"Okay, if you're gonna play, no pussying out of anything," Wooyoung said, with as much seriousness as he could manage. He couldn't hide a smile in the corner of his mouth though, and Tiffany knew what that meant.

"Waait, wait," she shook her head and looked him in the eye. "Nothing past kissing."

"Of course, Fany," Wooyoung said with mock hurt. "What'd you think?"

Tiffany rolled her eyes, knowing full well what could have happened and checked the ratio of their group. Five guys and one other girl aside from herself… or…

Tiffany's eyes widened as she noticed a sleeping figure nestled into a corner of the couch and nearly gasped.

When did she get here?

"Alright, let's see who's first," Nichkhun spun a beer bottle in the middle of the circle.

One revolution, two revolutions, the bottle landed on another boy. An empty chair was given a lap dance to some teenybopper pop music.

Another few revolutions, and it was revealed that one of the guys had cheated on his girlfriend.

Tiffany wrinkled her nose in disgust and closed her eyes as she listened to the annoyingly amusing guffaws of the boys around her. She took another peek at the auburn-haired girl, still tucked into the sofa.

"It's been such a long time," she said to herself quietly, eyes tracing over the figure that had been lingering in her mind since they first met.

*flashback*

She was sitting in another living room of a friend. Or maybe they were more than friends? It was confusing at the time, but nevertheless, she delighted in being there. After a week of teasing and playful suggestions, the air had finally gotten to where she'd wanted it, and he was about to make his move. That is, until his roommate stumbled in with company, hands running through long auburn hair as they came crashing through the door before breaking apart suddenly.

"Oh hey," his roommate said awkwardly.

"Hey. Who's your friend?"

The girl blushed.

"Jessica," she said a little quietly before clearing her throat. "I'm Jessica Jung."

--

It was rare moment when it was just the two of them, as they only saw each other when they both happened to be with their friends, but not friends in that apartment. Tiffany amused herself, realizing that Jessica could also fit that description: a friend, but not a friend.

The days that the four of them spent together were always fun, and she looked forward to them even when her original interests started to fade. But then they faded into nothing, and she could no longer find an excuse to be there. She heard the same happened to the other would-be couple, and Tiffany never saw Jessica again. That didn't mean she didn't wonder though.

*end flashback*

"Yeahh!!!" a loud yell drew her out of her reverie.

Tiffany looked to see what caused the commotion and saw that the bottle landed on her. She groaned inwardly at the sight of Wooyoung huddling with the other boys. It just had to be Wooyoung, the person who knew her best in the circle.

She shivered as she felt a tingle run up her spine when she thought of the possibilities, and sure enough, the boys didn't disappoint.

"You're doing a dare," he announced proudly.

Tiffany glared at him, keeping mum. She knew picking truth with him would be too dangerous anyway, but she didn't like the look in his eye.

"I think… you should…" he snickered before continuing, "make out with Jessica."

Tiffany facepalmed. Was this a blessing in disguise? She'd thought about this sort of situation countless times of course. Mused, daydreamed, fantasized. But what always cut these thoughts short cut her off this time too. She felt her stomach twist uncomfortably.

"What if she doesn't want to?" she mumbled sullenly.

"It's just a dare anyway," Wooyoung smiled knowingly, giving her a side-glance. "You're fine with it, aren't you, Sica?"

Tiffany jerked her head up.

She's awake?! … and that other girl is gone. But wait.. holy shit, holy shit, holy shit.

Her heart began to race as she heard that familiar voice.

"Hmm… yeah, I'll do it." Tiffany froze. "But this has to count for my turn too."

Tiffany felt her cheeks burning up, and she started to panic as she felt the other girl's eyes on her. Finally, she looked into them and saw a playful smile.

"It's nice to see you again Tiffany," Jessica said as she walked over to sit next to her. "I don't get why guys like this so much…"

"Um.. yeah…" Tiffany laughed uneasily.

A million thoughts flooded into Tiffany's mind.

Oh god, is this really happening? What if I can't stop? What if she finds out that I like her? Wooyoung, I hate you. Oh god, she's coming closer.

"How long are we doing this for?" Jessica asked Wooyoung. Tiffany could feel her breath on her skin.

The boys all looked at Wooyoung, their eyes hopeful.

"Hmm… five minutes!"

Tiffany snapped her head to look at him.

"WHAT?! That's such a long time!"

Wooyoung burst out laughing.

"Hey, it's counting for both of you! No pussying out remember?"

Tiffany looked at him incredulously before turning to look at Jessica. The girl had a thoughtful expression on her face. She spoke up after a few seconds.

"I feel like… you guys can't handle that."

Disagreement sounded throughout the room.

"What? We can totally handle that." Nichkhun said, offended.

"Yeah, we just want to watch.. y'know?" Wooyoung grinned.

The boys all started whining and it was getting annoying. Despite everything though, there was no way Tiffany would put a stop to things. She couldn't help but feel a little grateful even. Here it was, a chance to kiss the girl of her dreams, without all the complications or consequences. If anyone were to stop it, it'd have to be Jessica.

But Jessica didn't.

"If you guys start doing anything weird or can't handle it, we're going to stop," she said.

"Yeah, yeah… just get on with it!!" they all clamored as they leaned in closer.

Tiffany sat nervously as Jessica turned to face her, swallowing hard as the girl came even closer.

And when their lips were mere centimeters apart, Jessica said in a much quieter voice, "Let's beat them at their own game. Make it hot, yeah?" she winked, before closing in.

It started with a soft peck, followed by more passionate ones, and soon it escalated as Tiffany felt herself being pushed onto her back. The room went silent, or maybe Tiffany just didn't notice anymore because all she knew at the moment was Jessica's mouth. Her mind went into a daze as their lips crashed into each other, and soon there was no space left between them.

Tiffany threw her arms around Jessica's neck and ran her hands through the auburn locks. She let out a soft moan as she felt Jessica's tongue slip into her mouth. A hand slid down to her waist, traveling the length of her thigh before slipping back up and under her shirt. Jessica pulled back a little and started planting kisses along Tiffany's jaw, and it was all Tiffany could do to quiet her gasps. She felt her face flush as she noticed the slack jaws of some of the boys in her peripherals, but her mind wandered elsewhere as Jessica began to focus on her neck.

"Jessica," she exhaled, before being greeted by the girl's lips again.

Cold fingertips traced over her back, and Tiffany shivered as she arched upward. She closed her eyes, overwhelmed, and poured all her effort into stifling the noises coming from her mouth.

But then it was over.

Jessica pulled back abruptly, and Tiffany gasped in shock. A low whine came from her throat, but she quickly silenced it, hoping Jessica didn't hear.

"Yah! I saw you over there!" Jessica broke the quiet, smacking one of the boys.

And suddenly, noise erupted into the living room.

"Dude! What the hell?!"

"DAMN!!!!"

"HOLY SHIT, that was hot!!"

They shoved each other and laughed out.

"Ahh man!!"

"Hooo~!!"

"I knew you guys wouldn't be able to handle it," Jessica rolled her eyes.

"Yeah WHATEVER," Wooyoung laughed. "It was all Jay's fault!"

"Keep going!!" Jay yelled out. "Go go go go go!!"

Jessica shook her head.

"C'mon, pleease!!"

"That wasn't even two minutes!"

Not even two minutes?

Tiffany was exasperated where she lay. She could have been in heaven for much longer. But maybe it was better that they were cut off. She wasn't sure what she might have done if they were to continue.

"I'm going home," Jessica announced. "Are you going to stay Tiffany? They'll probably make you do something weird if you do," she said, leaning onto her shoulder.

"N-no! I'll go too," Tiffany stuttered.

The boys groaned.

"Aww, what? Don't be like that!" they complained as the girls grabbed their things to go.

"Alright, alright. Enough guys," Wooyoung said as he walked them to the door.

"Thanks for coming," he hugged Jessica. She smiled and started down the hallway.

"I'm going to kill you later," Tiffany whispered as they hugged goodbye.

"Kill me?! You should be thanking me! I'm a genius!" he laughed as they pulled apart.

Tiffany smacked his arm and looked up in a panic, breathing in relief since Jessica was out of earshot.

"Have fun," Wooyoung grinned as he waved her off.

Tiffany glared at him as the door shut. And then she sighed.

"Coming, Tiffany?"

"Y-Yeah!"

/end

Maybe there'll be a part two? Hmm...
