No, this is not an April Fool's Day joke. I'm watching the Jackman right now on Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards, and he and Boy Band Wonder are gearing up to go head to head in an all out burping contest. Any good Jackman fangirl will remember him winning the burping contest last year, and burping out his entire acceptance speech. *fangirl sigh*
They're showing them gearing up by:
-reading up on stacks of thick books about burping
-Justin eating a shitload of sandwiches
-Jackman meditating ("ooohmmmmmmmm")
-Jackman leaning back on a bunch of pillows and just letting it rip
They're face to face, saying they'll beat the other in the contest. Some of the comments include:
Justin: That accent's not gonna help you either.
Jackman: You're not in a boy band anymore.
Justin: This isn't the Tony Awards. This is the Kids Choice Awards.
Justin bragged about "not needing carbonation," and wanted everyone "to make some noise." He let out a few loud ones. Jackman didn't need soda either, and wanted absolute silence. He let out ten little burps.
Rob Schneider:What I liked about yours was that there was a whole story in there, about a unicorn, and a guy who stepped in doodie."
John Heder liked 'em both.
Edited to delete some unnecessary extra crap at the end, and to sadly report that Hugh lost to the Boy Band Wonder. And also to remind anyone who's forgotten that last year, Justin's girlfriend Cameron was in the contest (lots more gross than Justin tonight, I might add).
