i know what you mean about the student-teaching thing... everyone kept telling me how miserable it would be, but i actually really like it. that's why i'm not taking people too seriously when they tell me what a nightmare first-year teaching will be. if it's as "miserable" as student-teaching, i just may love it! and so will you! :)

we did icing cookies this week... funny that you are too! we iced them like phases of the moon (half white/half black, etc.), and i made one little boy cry because his behavior was too bad to do the cookie activity! oh no!
