Cell phones!

I am developing a serious pet peeve with Cell Phones. People need to learn how to put them away and put them on silent when there are actual living breathing human beings around to socialize with. Like...I'm having trouble not freaking out at people for being inconsiderate. Maybe my hatred stems from being a teacher, and having text message

Amen, my friend!

It was getting so bad at the YMCA that they decided to ban cell phones in any area of the facility past the main lobby. People were in the workout room(s) and/or locker rooms shouting into their phone and really pissing off the people like myself (or the working mothers with small children that never get a moment of peace) that like to work out to relax and unwind from the day. Bah!

PS - Your entire post is reason 1,259 that you're my friend and I miss you like woah and a half, times 100, divided by 1, plus infinity, all to the nth power.

Don't you love the sneaky way that High School kids try and text on their cell phones during class? Like we don't notice that they're intently staring at their crotch and fast fingering the keys.

Amen. And you listed why it can be so hard to reach me sometimes - because I'm being polite and with other people. But when people answer the phone and scream into it in a doctor's office, or when others are around and they go yackity yack and ignore you? Not nice.
