I really do feel like I should have a baby by now. I mean, I've pretty much pulled up all the roots and and started from scratch on EVERYTHING, so why not?? meh

you're not alone with the job search sh*t. G and i have been looking (off and on, because it's too depressing to look, and fail, ALL the time) for two years. more, in his case. it's ridiculous. the only job he's gotten seriously close to in recent memory is one that ultimately we found out was scabs for some strike-busting bullsh*t with at&t. to which we were all, no effing way are we ruining some other poor bastard's chance of keeping his/her real union job, with benefits.
i'm thinking planting a garden may be my full-time job this summer. why not? there's no commute, but it saves you a bunch of $$. so there you go.
i love watching the little goldfinches at the feeder! they're so bright and yellow and cheerful. can i just have a job gardening and feeding birds, please. (separately; i don't want the birds feeding on the garden.)
The USNA says I'm zone 8-9. I can tell you what I've got though, because some you can plant anywhere, just at different times:
cherry Belle Radishes Imperator carrots Salad bowl lettuce Siberia tomato - cool weather variety (probably not this one, eh?) Casper white pumpkins Blue Lake Bush Beans Waltham Butternut Squash
I'm no where near being able to plant yet - maybe next month. But it's still getting down below freezing here off and on. I may not plant until april! But if anything sounds good to you, let me know and I'll put them in an envelope for you! I sure don't have room for all the seeds I got.
