i can't believe that this time next week, i won't ever be a junior in high school again. i can't believe that i will only have one more first day of school in gbury for the rest of my life. this year has been the worst yet the best year of my high school life. but i don't think i would change anything. except maybe not switching out of mr.

I lurve you Jessie. Don't be gloomy...I promise that you can come visit Jessy and I in Boston whenever you like, and we'll be back at GHS to crash choir and Mads! :) And about CCY, it will be the best experience of your life. I had the same fears going into the program...I knew nobody else who was going, other than Jon Hong and we weren't even friends. Then, I got there that first day, and realized that everybody else was in the same boat as me; we were all scared, among total strangers, and nervous about making new friends. And let me tell you - the minute we all congregated on the patio above the lounge, something clicked and we all were drawn to each other. It was amazing, we found close friends in about five minutes. And it stayed that way the entire time...I was never lonely. Sure, I missed my friends from home but I was so engrossed in my new friends that it wasn't that bad, you know? You'll see. It will be fabulous. I'm so excited for you. And I love you, did i say that already? :)

also- dont be scared about ccy- i was totally petrified about intermezzo too...i didnt even want to sing in the practice rooms the first week! but i promise everyone is feelin the same thing and everyone, well most everyone, will try to befriend thier peers. but let me tell you, going away from home summer before sr is the smartest thing ive ever done, im sure em could vouch for me, and you will realize it too- we are lucky to get a heads up for what college/dorm life is like- and you'll see that being away from home sint all that bad!!!
i will miss you jessy q but i know this will be a great experience for you!
