Please don't take this the wrong way - but- are you alright? I know plenty of people have moments in their lives where they've considered suicide - but your researching it to the extent you have concerns me. I really don't want you to think I'm butting in, but I don't want to close my eyes to something that could be really serious...do you have friends, family, professionals that you can reach out to? If you don't reply to this...then i'll take that as an indication - you don't want me to bug you.
Just want to help..
my name is Leslie, by the way.

I can completely relate to the obsessing, ups and downs, and whatnot...depression has been a big issue for me also. It's funny because my first connection with rats was when I had some real trauma in my life - and the bond that I developed with them was literally life saving. I don't know what it is about these little animals but I'm so thankful that they came into my life...and have never been out of it since!
Well, if you ever need some support, someone to vent to, etc. feel free to email or send me a post, whatever. And just remember - you have a responsibility to your ratties - so you can't be selfish!! so suicide ISN'T AN OPTION!! who would take care of them?
