i found out today that i didnt get the job i applied for

BUT,
they have offered me PAID work experience in mid Jan. They are hoping to get a new contract and if they do it means a position will open up

FOR ME!!!!!

sure it isnt the best pay, but it is full time work, work experience in the field!!
