Okay...so it's been a while...
SO! I finally have something important to post in my livejournal.
I AM A GROWNUP. almost.
Quinn, AJ, Sully (Evan Cohen's cousin's girlfriend), and I are living in an apartment. but not just any apartment. THE BEST APARTMENT EVER. It's unbelieeeeevable.
Okay, so the outside is awesome. It is this big old green house with white COLUMNS and stone steps leading up to it. Then our apartment is the 2nd and 3rd floors. so you enter and you go up the stairs to the second floor and holy shit holy shit, there is a giant apartment on your left.
First is the dark blue den which has a door out to the porch, then there is the huge living room, then the mondo dining room (I think it should be a ballroom because the kitchen is big enough to eat in).
Then the kitchen which has STAINLESS STEEL stove and fridge, and an awesome pantry which has the cabinets and sink. no dishwasher, but whatever. then the full bathroom, one of the bedrooms (prolly AJ's), and the f'in LAUNDRY ROOM. a whole room. just for laundry. chriiiiiiist.
Okay, then upstairs is another bedroom (sully's i think), a funny vaulted-cieling'd area, and the MASTER BEDROOM with 1/2 bathroom for me and Quinn.
So yeah, I am super excited. The landlord is this way nice lady named Genevieve who's in her like late 20's and a brandeis graduate and remodeled the whole place herself. She was like if you have parties you should invite me, so i think that'll be cool, although I feel like with everyone being graduated soon, there won't be a lot of people around to have parties with, but whatever. I think it is awesome. And it's even a super cheap place. $1550/month for 4 people. less than $400 a month, with electricity included. She emailed me about 20 minutes after we left the apartment to tell ask me for my roommates' names and tell me that she would be drawing up a lease in the next few days. we are set to start our lease the 15th of may.
I am kind of nervous that I won't be able to find a job, but i suppose that is dumb. I'm sure I can find something. And at any rate, anything but the lowwwwest paying jobs would be enough to pay rent for this place. I guess it is just scary, because this is the first summer I will be away from home, and I can't count on my parents for financial help, so I have to do it all myself. But I think I can do it. I am actually really excited to be a pseudo-adult and be responsible for everything. Yay!
Okay...back to the job search.
