LOST: Raised by Another S1E10
Claire-centric. Claire's due in a week and is having nightmares. She thinks someone is attacking her. Jack thinks she has too much anxiety triggering her nightmares. Claire is pissed that Jack doesn't believe her.
Because of Claire being attacked, Hurley decides to start a census of everyone. He even gets the flight manifest from Sawyer. There's a creepy Locke scene and a creepy Ethan scene. I remember for a while thinking Locke was possibly evil.
Claire, pissed that Jack doesn't believe her, trucks off to the beach. Charlie goes after her, and Claire starts having contractions. Charlie runs, finds Ethan, tells Ethan to get Jack, then runs back to Claire. Claire and Charlie sit down and talk. The contractions stop.
Sayid comes back to the caves to tell the survivors that there are other people on this island besides Rousseau.
Hurley checks the flight manifest. There is no Ethan Rom on it.
Ethan doesn't get Jack. He kidnaps Claire and Charlie instead.
Off-island, we see Claire finding out she's pregnant. Her boyfriend Thomas is all gung-ho about keeping the baby. Three months later he changes his tune. Claire decides to give the baby up for adoption. Claire sees Mr. Malkin, a psychic who tells her that Claire must raise this baby. Anyone else raising this baby would be disastrous. Then Mr. Malkin finds a family in Los Angeles that could adopt the baby and this is what would be the best. He has the flight picked out for Claire to go to Los Angeles. Theories are that Mr. Malkin knew that Claire and the baby needed to be on the island.
