so i have a job now. i start monday, 12-4 monday thru thursday next week, then i have memorial day weekend off. so far things are shaping up quite nicely. my lsat class is just about half way over and my summer class also starts on monday, so i will be uber busy until june 23rd when that class ends, then i will just be busy as i continue to work

lsat class is going pretty well, i have learned some helpful tips that i am toying around with on the prep tests to see which ones help me best and all that jazz. i have stayed around my 147 for each prep test, which is according to teh instructor good because most people, when figuring out how best to take the test, will drop like 5 points until they have all the tips and know which ones work best. the args had been giving me a lot of problems but i seem to be doing a bit better on those now but i would still like a 25% or so improvement, and so long as i don't get 2 uber difficult logic games i average about a 75-80% accuracy rate. teh reading comp while more time efficent this new way has messed with my accuracy so i need to work some more on that. but i will be tweaking my technique over the summer until the september test, so with anyluck teh 14 point increase i wanted will not be a problem. we will see. i can already get into one of the schools i am looking at with my current score so that is good

cool, i need to take a class or get an lsat book or something. my gpa is a 3.93 so i'm not worried about that, just the lsat. i'm pretty sure i'll be taking the september one, i haven't gotten my act together enough to be prepared for the june.

and hey, retail kinda sucks, but it's perfect for working around a school schedule. i've never heard of boscovs (we don't have them down here), but i envy your appliance discount. have you decided on maryland for sure? and any tips on financing this stuff? i think we're both looking at like $100K for this whole law school thing. :0 i wonder how long it would take to pay that off, even at a lawyer's salary.

i am still working on my mom to try and get her to go to steph's wedding. i think it will happen though, so hopefully i will see you in a few months.

pretty much maryland is where i plan to be, either UB or UM, my GPA i am not worried about either, i have 3 classes yet that will get an actual letter grade, each of which should be an A. the LSAT doesn't worry me as much right now, i have to start to get some more practice books for the summer months. as far as financing i know that loans are pretty much what you live on unless you can manage to find a scholarship or grant or something. but you should be able to get money from fafsa if your folks are going to help you pay for anything. i looked into that, then the regular fed loans that you can get for undergrad also apply, so maybe 70-80 K that you still need to look for.

i have been told that if you sell your soul for about 4 or 5 years and do corporate work you can pay all your debt off but i am loathe to sell my soul yet. and i know that the folks are serious if you want to come and need a place tp crash because no one else is coming let them know and you can stay with us and whatnot.
