Long story short

Fandom stuff:
I've been participating in the st_respect Ship Wars, wrote a round-robin Trek Noir for the battle post that sail_aweigh posted at her journal here and I actually worked on Dear Daddy, recently. Also, I'm enjoying Caprica. I have a thing about mobsters that's probably husband's fault.
School/research stuff:
I can see the light. It's far away, but I can see it. This is progress. I just need to go forth and gather data like a fiend so that I have enough stuff to run an analysis. Then there's the making of illustrations, the writing of the thesis and etc.. I'm getting ready to go down to Gainesville, FL to look at the collection there. The Sneeches are baffling me, but I'm sure I'll work it out. Most of the Neomaenas are pretty easily identified, so shouldn't be too much of a problem.
I should go to London. I want to go to London. The British Museum has EVERYTHING.
The rest of my life:
Went on a long walk with my bubby today because it was nice outside and she's on spring break. I've been making onigiri and having lots of fun with my bento box. Watched The Big Sleep yesterday. Passover is coming up **YAY** and it is SPRING outside!
